We were honored to be hosted at San Francisco City Hall by the Honorable Mayor Daniel Lurie (@danielluriesf), where we convened His Excellency Dr. Félix Ulloa Jr. (@felixulloa2019), Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador, along with Eduardo Godoy (@edugodoy1989) and Héctor Valle (@hector_vallesv), Governors of the Departments of San Salvador and Usulután. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss avenues to further strengthen ties with the Salvadoran-American community in San Francisco, foster connections between San Francisco’s technology ecosystem and El Salvador, and exchange perspectives on governance.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Honorable @myrnamelgard7, Supervisor of District 7, in recognition of her continued service and commitment to San Francisco’s Salvadoran community, as well as to Rev. Jorge Garcia.
This December, we had the privilege of hosting our inaugural series of events highlighting renewed opportunities in El Salvador under the leadership of President Nayib Bukele (@nayibbukele) and the country’s foreign investment promotion agency, Invest in El Salvador (@investinsv), led by Mr. Rodrigo Ayala (@rodrigoayalasv). The series of events also strengthened relationships between local SF Bay Area government officials, Silicon Valley leaders, and the Salvadoran diaspora, beginning with a private dinner in San Francisco.
We were deeply honored to be joined by our distinguished guest speakers: His Excellency Dr. Félix Ulloa Jr. (@felixulloa2019), Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador; Eduardo Godoy (@edugodoy1989) and Héctor Valle (@hector_vallesv), Governors of the Department of San Salvador and Usulután.
We are also grateful for the presence of Ana Valenzuela, Consul General of El Salvador in San Francisco, and her team, along with David Canepa (@davidcanepa), President of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors; Myrna Melgar (@myrnamelgard7), San Francisco District 7 Supervisor; Father Armando Gutiérrez, envoy for the Archbishop of the San Francisco Catholic Archdiocese (@sfarchdiocese); and Deanna Tryon (@deannatryon), Chief of Protocol for the Silicon Valley Office of Protocol.
Lastly, we extend our sincere appreciation to our board members, advisors, and friends of El Salvador for making these events possible.
With sincere gratitude to @rodrigoayalasv and the "Invest in El Salvador" (@investinsv) team for graciously hosting our team to discuss new opportunities for strengthening investment ties between the United States and El Salvador.
@investinsv provides a wide range of complimentary government services to assist both foreign and diasporan investors in streamlining their investment journey.
A special thank you to our advisor, Wilber Francisco Alabi (@francisco_alabi), Ad Honorem representative of Invest in El Salvador in California, for his continued guidance and support.

On May 16th, 2025, we had the honor of hosting Ernesto Castro (@ernestocastrosv), President of the Legislative Assembly (Speaker of the House equivalent) of the Republic of El Salvador, at Plug and Play Tech Center (@plugandplaytc)—one of the world’s leading venture capital firms and startup accelerators, headquartered in Silicon Valley. His visit was part of El Salvador’s broader efforts to attract foreign investment and position the country as a future hub for tech and innovation in Latin America.
